24/365: The new hanging chair in our living room (it's this one).
25/365: Dishes. We did a lot of organizing in the kitchen over the weekend. Everything has a place, finally. This makes me happier than I can describe!
26/365: A little just-for-fun journal I painted over the weekend. Sometimes it's fun to just make stuff for no reason.
Life is pretty crazy around here. Pretty insanely crazy. Off to get dinner with my love....

23/365: Today my dad came over and put together our shelves from Subtle Takeover (We bought his kit. He also wrote a full DIY post on ABM.) Sometime later this weekend we will hang them up. I am excited to fill them with plants, books and photos.
And a photo of my talented handymen! They're pretty amazing, if I do say so myself. I love you, dad.

21/365: Our new studio is coming along. It's nearly finished! For the past few months it was (by far) the ugliest room in our home. It was filled with boxes, bare walls, empty shelves and mess. We've been working hard to get it organized and cleaned up. I am happy to say that we're now ready to make a new kind of mess in there- a creative mess. :)
Still on a lace kick. We just hung these curtains in the studio. (curtains found here
Bella came over for a few hours today. We had fun painting and playing with dolls. She's incredible.
22/365: Bella loved our new hanging chair. I'm pretty excited about this chair. I've wanted one for forever.

18/365: I collect colorful scarves. Some are vintage, some are new and some are my own designs. I love wearing them too.
19/365: Just a little snap of our entryway. Last week we had a lot of light fixtures swapped out. I love these big metal farmhouse pendants. We have them everywhere. Still loving the horses too. They inspired me to try a couple more patterned walls. I have plans for our bedroom and a hallway next!
20/356: Just a few records. I like collecting them. I usually pick them up for a dollar or two. My favorite old record is Dusty Springfield, but I like Andy Williams a lot too.
It's my sister's birthday today... Happy birthday Emma!!

17/365: We've been filling our home with light, bright neutral colors. LOTS of white. And even though I am 100% happy with this choice I still stop and stare at the rich, saturated jewel tones every time we pick out paint. I just love crazy intense colors. I finally found the perfect way to work one of these colors into our kitchen. We are painting the inside of the cabinets. I am considering getting glass doors, but even if we don't I think that this color pop will make us smile each time we grab a coffee cup.
Also- I am so excited to try these beans! Last night we made a lavender latte and it was heavenly.

15/365: Today we finished this wall. I won't go into too much detail because I'll be sharing a how-to on ABM soon, but I'm just so happy with it so it had to be my photo for today!
16/365: My friends kept pinning this calender from Etsy. So, of course, I bought it. And I love it. I think I will use photos of each month as spacers in my 365 book... you know, maybe.
In other news, our floors are almost in. I am so happy with the match that we've been able to get. We were told that these skinny 100-year-old floors were impossible to match, but our contractor did an amazing job. Things are moving along like crazy and I am very thankful for this.
Today, we're all having a tea tasting day while we work on projects. Ok, Back to work for me!
