As the colder weather starts to set in I feel the need to put down some goals and intentions for all to see. Here's what I would like to accomplish this winter: 1. Creating an inspiring workspace. Our new home studio needs to be organized and decorated. It's a good space, but it still needs a lot of TLC to make it an inspiring space. 2. Filling a new journal. I'm working on ideas for paintings and other illustration projects right now. Daily sketching is a must. 3. Focusing on personal goals. In the past few years so many of my goals have been business related. This season I am already completely booked business-wise. I'm happy with where I am in my career and all I really need to do is keep working hard on the projects I already have- not add too much more. What I need in life is personal goals. So my 30 before 31 birthday goal list is pretty much nothing but personal/family stuff this year. Yeah!
These goals should help me fill up the cold months with more positivity and forward motion (I don't like cold weather, if you can't tell...) Work will be crazy busy because we will be almost completely finished with another book by the time it starts warming up again. Also, I bought a bunch of new flannel and thermal pajamas and stocked up on tea. So, yes, I'm ready for winter. :)
