Life Is Beautiful.

Just a few photos from the past few days that are making me smile! Crazy is the new normal around here. it's been c-r-a-z-y. Except tonight is date night... time to slow down, eat something amazing, have a couple drinks and talk to my love. That sounds perfect, doesn't it? 

Red.

Just a couple snapshots from this past week. I'm on a red kick. It's weird. All the sudden I just LOVE red. 

Monty the Toy Poodle

My brother got a toy poodle and named him Monty. He's tiny & mostly fluff. He still hasn't gotten his first "poodle cut" and I can't wait for that. He came to work all day and we passed him around allll dayyyy. Such a wittle sweetie.

Life is good! I spent the weekend cooking, cleaning and taking photos. It's crazy busy over here, but I love feeling productive!! I have a feeling the next 40 days until Emma's wedding are going to fly by. So excited! 

Going Home.

I'm thankful for all we get to travel for work, but right now I am so so so excited to be at home. This spring and summer Jeremy and I have so many plans... grilling, gardening, training for a half marathon (what?!), taking night walks in our beautiful neighborhood and puppy-sitting my brother's new toy poodle. 

All I can think about is sleeping in my own bed and cooking in my own kitchen. Yay for going home! 

Hold On Tight.

These past few months have felt like the blink of an eye. I have a feeling the next few will feel the same. I wish I could stop time sometimes. I am so thankful that I have this camera with me most of the time to save the memories that my mind can't always hold on to. 

In a few months my sister will be married, this monster of a book will be turned in and the leaves will be changing again. That's a weird thought. In the meantime I'll keep my camera nearby and I'll try to remember that each day only happens once.

Right now the grass is starting to grow again, Madmen is about to start, our dogs are really enjoying their big yard and Jeremy is cooking a lot of Indian food. Life is beautiful and I'm so thankful for all of it. 

Passport Day.

So... $420 and one heart attack later OUR PASSPORTS ARE RENEWED. I might be exaggerting a little about the heart attack part, but believe me... I was going insane. Over the weekend I discovered that my birth certificate was missing (again!) and I needed this to apply for an expedited passport that I will be needing next month. I am terribly disorganized. When will I learn? 

I vowed that if I found my stuff to never ever ever lose any important papers again. Tonight I am filing everything away in ONE SPOT. Wow... I am really thankful for today. I woke up super stressed and will go to bed feeling light as a feather.

ps. I'm a sentimental dork, but it made me really happy that both Jeremy and I are getting new passports right before our first overseas trip as a married couple. Think of all the stamps we will collect together in the next ten years... that's kinda a sweet thought. I want to collect a lot of stamps together.
